Mastopexy : Indications
This type of cosmetic surgery is indicated:
- In women but really have no drooping breasts, have the nipple above submammary and mammary gland concentrated at the lower chest, which introduces an aspect of drooping breasts. In this case the CAP (Nipple Areola Complex or distance from the junction of the clavicles and every one of our nipples) is usually 18-20 cm and they say we’re at a normal level of ptosis, loss of breast or pseudoptosis.
- In women who have the nipple at the same level as the inframammary fold. In these cases we can correct the fall of the chest and even increase volume with the placement of a breast prosthesis, in this case the CAP is between 21 and 23 cm and we can say we have a level 1 breast ptosis or drooping
